What does and does not belong to each family is determined by a taxonomist. Similarly for the question if a particular family should be recognized at all. Often there is no exact agreement, with different taxonomists each taking a different position. There are no hard rules that a taxonomist needs to follow in describing or recognizing a family. Q. I am planning on going to medical school and I am undecided of the following choices. 1= Biology Major, Spanish Major 2= Biology Major, Spanish minor, French minor. I am fluent in French and it would be nice to get some grammer classes for that. Otherwise for Spanish I have been taking for 5 years and will spend 6 weeks with a family in Paraguay to improve my spanish. A French minor would make more proficient or professional in French.
